Bundestag urges to create long-term strategy to help Ukraine

Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, head of the Bundestag Defense Committee, has called on the German government to develop a long-term strategy for military assistance to Kyiv, Report informs referring to TASS.

“Germany should develop a scenario with its partners to continue supporting Ukraine in the coming months,” she said, adding that only responding to calls for help is not a long-term strategy.

In addition, the situation in Ukraine directly affects other countries, including Germany, she noted.
