Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has ratified the green energy cooperation agreement signed with Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. The agreement envisages the development of clean and renewable energy resources between the three countries, strengthening energy infrastructure and implementing joint projects in this field.
The agreement aims to increase the use of renewable resources, especially solar and wind energy, and to transfer technology and share expertise in this field. It is also planned to modernize the energy transmission lines between the three countries and build new lines. Commenting on the ratification of the agreement, President Mirziyoyev said: “This agreement is an important step to strengthen cooperation in the field of green energy in our region. Together with Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, we will increase our joint efforts to achieve our sustainable development goals.”
