Kyrgyzstan’s Cabinet Chief Departs for Washington to Attend IMF and World Bank Meetings

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adilbek Kasymaliev arrived in Washington, USA on a working visit to attend the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Group meetings. It was reported that Bektenov will represent his country at the IMF and World Bank Spring Meetings to be held between April 17-19. During the meetings, issues such as global economic developments, financial stability and sustainable development will be discussed. The Kyrgyzstan delegation will also hold bilateral meetings with finance ministers and central bank representatives of various countries to evaluate opportunities for economic cooperation. This visit is important in line with Kyrgyzstan’s goals of strengthening cooperation with international financial institutions and active participation in global economic processes.
