Kyrgyzstan and France discuss cooperation in emergency prevention and response

Kyrgyzstan and France held talks to strengthen cooperation in the prevention of emergencies and rapid response to such situations.

During the meeting between officials from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan and representatives of relevant institutions of France, issues such as prevention of natural disasters, crisis management and enhancing emergency response capacity were discussed. The sides agreed to cooperate more closely on the exchange of experience and technical assistance. Within the framework of the talks, the development of projects to increase Kyrgyzstan’s emergency preparedness capacity by taking advantage of France’s experience in disaster management was also discussed. The two countries will continue to work to strengthen cooperation in this area and implement mutual support mechanisms.
