President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation. The statement on the conversation was made by the Press Service of the President of Kazakhstan (Akorda). The sides emphasized the steady development of multilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia and discussed the process of implementing the agreements reached earlier at the highest level. Particular attention was paid to cooperation in the energy sphere. The leaders also exchanged views on topical international issues and discussed the schedule of upcoming bilateral contacts.
