General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, To Lam, will pay a state visit to Kazakhstan from May 5 to 7 at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. According to the press service of the President of Kazakhstan, high-level talks will focus on prospects for enhancing Kazakh-Vietnamese cooperation in trade, economy, investment, and humanitarian fields. On May 7, the Vietnamese leader is also scheduled to attend the military parade in Astana commemorating the 80th anniversary of Victory Day.
