Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ceyhun Bayramov met today with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum. During the meeting, the political, trade, economic and humanitarian dimensions of Azerbaijan-Russia relations, the current situation in the South Caucasus region, the Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization process and regional cooperation were discussed, APA reported citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry. Lavrov reiterated Russia’s determination to continue its efforts to ensure peace and stability in the region. Bayramov stressed the importance Azerbaijan attaches to regional development projects and cooperation with neighboring countries. The sides agreed on the development of bilateral relations and the implementation of joint projects.
