The first meeting of the Kyrgyzstan-Pakistan Business Council, which was established to develop trade and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan, was held. The meeting was considered as an important step to strengthen trade and investment relations between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by leading representatives of the business community, government officials and diplomats from Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan. Participants emphasized the need for cooperation to increase the volume of trade between the two countries and create new business opportunities. The Kyrgyzstan-Pakistan Business Council aims to develop cooperation, especially in sectors such as agriculture, textiles, energy, tourism and infrastructure. During the meeting, potential projects and investment opportunities in these sectors were discussed. In his speech at the meeting, the President of the Kyrgyz Chamber of Commerce and Industry stated that Pakistan is an important trade partner in the region and that economic relations between the two countries should be further strengthened. The Pakistani side emphasized that the strategic location of Kyrgyzstan in the Central Asian region provides a great opportunity for trade and investment. Pakistani businessmen expressed their readiness to invest in the natural resources and agricultural products of Kyrgyzstan.
