Director of the Consular Department Seitek Jumakadyr uulu met with Russian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Sergey Vakunov to discuss the legal situation of Kyrgyz citizens in Russia. The meeting discussed consular cooperation between the two countries and steps to protect the rights of citizens.
During the meeting, the legal problems faced by citizens of Kyrgyzstan living or working in Russia and the steps to be taken to solve these problems were discussed. The two sides agreed to increase cooperation in protecting the rights of citizens and providing consular services more effectively. The Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said in a statement that work will continue to improve the legal situation and facilitate the living conditions of Kyrgyz citizens in Russia. The agenda also included the implementation of existing agreements between the two countries and the development of new cooperation.
