Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Russia Kubanchbek Bokontaev met with Boris Titov, Special Representative of the Russian President for Relations with International Organizations for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals. In particular, joint work on international platforms such as the United Nations (UN), the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) was discussed.
They also discussed ways to enhance coordination between Kyrgyzstan and Russia in the areas of regional and global security, economic development and cultural cooperation. They also stressed the commitment of the two countries to support each other’s initiatives in international organizations. Titov appreciated Kyrgyzstan’s support for stabilization and development efforts in the region, while Kubanchbek Bokontaev emphasized the importance of Russia’s leading role in the international arena. Bokontaev reiterated Kyrgyzstan’s commitment to strengthening its strategic partnership with Russia.
