UK to provide 415,050 doses of vaccine to Thailand

On 29 July 2021, Mr. Evan Jones, Chargé d’affaires, together with H.E. Mr. Mark Gooding, Ambassador-Designate of the United Kingdom to Thailand delivered a Note Verbale to H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, stating that the Government of the United Kingdom will grant 415,040 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines to Thailand, as part of UK’s assistance to friends in the region who are facing challenges in the vaccine roll-out.

Resolution initiated By Turkmenistan adopted unanimously

On the 2nd of August, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov reported to the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov that during the 96th plenary meeting of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly, the Draft Resolution initiated by Turkmenistan entitled “Strengthening the links between all modes of transport to achieve stable and reliable international transport for sustainable development during and after the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic” was viewed.
